Seitan Ingredients:

1 tsp poultry seasoning (or any chicken seasoning you prefer)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp thyme
2 tsp Red pepper
1 tsp Cayenne pepper
3 Bay leaves
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp Oregano
1 tsp turmeric
2 Tbsp Nutritional yeast
1 tsp Fennel powder
1 tsp Curry powder
1 Veg bouillon
2 Tbsp Olive oil
3/4 cup water
- Mix the seasonings and the water
- Add the 1 1/2 Cups Vital Wheat Gluten https://amzn.to/34c1flR
- Stir the ingredients together and make sure everything is well combined.
Seitan Boiling Broth:
1 tsp poultry seasoning (or any chicken seasoning you prefer)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp thyme
2 tsp Red pepper
1 tsp Cayenne pepper
3 Bay leaves
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp Oregano
1 tsp turmeric
2 Tbsp Nutritional yeast
1 tsp Fennel powder
1 tsp Curry powder
1 Veg bouillon
2 Tbsp Olive oil
3/4 cup water
- Boil this for 5 mins to make the broth, set aside and let cool or buy vegetable broth
- Chop the seitan into 1-2 inch chunks, Arrange the seitan chunks onto the bamboo skewers evenly
- Boil the Seitan for 5-10 mins
- On medium heat, place the seitan kebabs on a skillet.
- Roast until the top starts to brown, maybe 5-10 minutes, remove and carefully turn the kebabs over in the skillet to roast the other side
- Cook until the kebabs crisp up a bit and have slightly blackened edges, approximately 10 more minutes.
- Decorate with dry parsley
Serve with Kale, spinach, Carrots, Avocados, zucchini, grapes or with any sides.
